Teaching Improvement Programs attended

Besides my Master's and Certificate degrees in ELT,  during the months of October and November, 2012, I took a Teacher Trainer course with the TESOL organization.  A copy of this certificate appears in the support documents of my Résumé.

The Department organizes Teaching Symposiums on a year basis to update the faculty members about the latest findings and approaches, to which I have attended.

I've also taken a course in Teaching TOEFL at the Canadian College of Educators, and the course Trainer of Trainers, at the University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire

Also, during the months of September and October, 2013, I did a fantastic course in CLIL with Cambridge English Teacher, a program offered by this university to language teachers.

I took a Certificate Program in Online Tutoring and Spanish Teaching at Pontificia Universidad Javeriana in 2004 and 2007, respectively.

Now, I'm taking advantage of a scholarship I won with La Salle University in Seville, Spain, to study a Master's program in Business Administration, MBA.  Fundamentals and behaviors acquired at a program like this are important in my profession, and in our Colombian context, they are taught in very scarce specialization programs, oriented towards the school system.  Scholarships are very scarce.  The knowledge I acquire from that program will be very helpful in my two teaching businesses.

Other programs
I hold a Master’s degree in Colombian History (ABD).
In 1999-2000, I completed the Biennial Course in Universal History at Universidad de la Sabana.
I have taken free courses in telecommunications, Windows, Internet.
